I've a Great Idea for a Gender Reveal...

Okay, sure; having two H. Moser Cylindrical Tourbillon Skeleton Alpines on-deck for your best friend's gender reveal party is a bit pricey at nearly $98k USD a piece, but isn't that what friends are for?

Joking aside, H. Moser continues to impress with their design and execution. I'd be truly stoked to see one of these in the metal.

Jaeger-LeCoultre Precious Flowers Reverso LE

The Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso is a staple - a bit of a darling - among watch enthusiasts. It has the "X factor" and a ton of charm. Not to mention, the unique functionality reversing case which is loads of fun, but also incredibly functional. The latest LE from JLC is not that. Well, the function part at least.

From WatchPro:

Jaeger-LeCoultre references the streamlined, tropically influenced architecture of cities like Miami and Cuba as being among the inspirations.

The new pink gold models display the combined artistic crafts of enamelling, gold-leaf paillonnage and gem-setting.

This is art, at its horological finest, and to use a phrase I despise - I'm here for it.

The Union Glashutte Belisar Chronograph Moon Phase

Monochrome Watches:

With their finely azuré-finished inner parts, the recessed subdials add depth to the dial, their outer rings slightly sunken. Each subdial serves dual functions: the one at 12 o’clock hosts a 30-minute chronograph counter with triangular apertures for day and month indications, while the subdial at 9 o’clock displays running seconds and a 24-hour indicator. Finally, the subdial at 6 o’clock showcases the moon phase with the gold-coloured moon against the starry blue background and a 12-hour chronograph counter. The main handset, featuring nickel-coloured hour, minutes, running seconds, and open-tip date hand, complements the blued chronograph hands and 24-hour hand, creating a harmonious ensemble befitting a classically elegant timepiece.

It is astonishing to me that Union Glashutte is able to pack so many complications into a 42mm case while maintaining a very high level of legibility and aesthetics. While I already have the moon phase my heart desires most, I could see myself adding this to the collection at some point. Its ability to exist as both sporty and dressy just makes it that much more appealing.
